Starting in Idaho Springs and following the route of the annual Bob Cook Memorial Hillclimb, this ride is not one for the faint of heart (or lungs)! Beyond the challenge of cycling in this rarefied air (25% less oxygen at these altitudes), this ride is above the tree line much of the way, which means you will be rewarded with views of 14,000-footers on all sides!

This high altitude, 27 mile training ride has over 6,500 feet of climbing to get to the 14,130 foot summit of Mt. Evans and is sure to give you the ultimate “Rocky Mountain High!”
