What a great short film this is. With all the news lately about what I call the “Civil War between cyclists and drivers,” I thought it a fine moment to share the very funny short film “Right Hook” from our film: “Bicycle Movies: The Short Film Collection.” “Right Hook,” is a very imaginative look at the fantasies of a beleaguered female cyclist who is ‘mad as hell and isn’t going to take it any more.” A callous driver who’s self-absorbed beyond repair is the target of her hallucinatory jiu-jitsu with a bike lock. Some of the best movies of recent times have been ‘revenge fantasies,’ (think Django Unchained and Inglourious Basterds.”) “Right Hook” gets the Oscar in my book for best cycling film made for this genre. The director of this gem is a talented gentlemen by the name of Mike Vogel.

Love the idea of locking him to the pole with the U-lock at the one-minute mark.
And then she could have left a note — “courtesy of your friendly neighborhood Sprocket-Man”.
