We think that they do! Consider the evidence in the form of “The Bicycle,” a very cool short film from filmmakers Chris McCoy & Adam Neustadter. Many great touches in the piece and it speaks for itself. Watch and ponder the significance! If we do another collection of short films this gem will be in contention for sure.
Come to think of it, it belongs to a growing genre of short films about the inner life of bicycles. One of my faves is from a filmmaker I know, Mateo Vega, and it’s called A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BICYCLE.

This one was shot in Amsterdam, while the one above was shot in my neck of the woods, Southern California.
They’re both wonderful films and they speak to the idea that our bicycles have personalities and ideas all their own! Could it be true?
If your bicycle could talk what would it say to you? Mine would say, ride me more, ride me more! At least that’s what it would say lately.
